"Hi, I’m Raj Barker. I am the founder of Body Medicine. I’m a holistic nutritionist, a yoga teacher and I teach a fitness method called The Class. 


For me, youtime looks like moving my body on a regular basis.


It looks like ocean swims, nourishing food, god sleep and spending quality time with the people that I love.



My youtime definitely shifts with the seasons, I really believe that we’re cyclical beings and so it is in honour of ourselves that we adapt as the seasons change, as the moon cycles through, as food shifts throughout the year.



I would say that my youtime is spent both in good company and in peaceful solitude, just depending on what I’m needing in the moment and navigating the waters of that. So sometimes I really need to be by myself. I’m definitely someone that gets energy from being solo. Sometimes youtime is doing more so I can get stuff done and feel accomplished and like I am on track. And other times it's at the opposite end of the spectrum, it’s more about doing less, peeling back, resting and making space for what comes next."
